COUNTRY MANAGER
Job Overview
Our client in the non-governmental organization sector (NGO) is actively seeking an experienced, visionary and result-oriented country manager to join their team.
As a country manager, you shall be responsible for overseeing all facets of projects, programs and administrative tasks, including strategy implementation, team management, partnership development, and donor engagement.
The ideal candidate should be capable of helping to organize, plan, and coordinate the organization’s activities.

Responsibilities
- Engage in public relations, represent the organization at high-level meetings to raise brand recognition, and seek out and seize local market expansion prospects that complement the company’s principles.
- Manage fundraising campaigns to provide the organisation with the financial support needed, and develop and execute out strategies that are essential to reaching long-term goals.
- Establish and maintain connections with a range of stakeholders, such as customers, employees, suppliers, governmental organisations, and regional partners.
- Plan, budget, and submit periodic reports on key performance indicators and overall business performance to the corporate headquarters, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively.
- Conduct market analysis to gather valuable insights to make informed business decisions, while adhering to corporate policies, local laws and regulations.
Skills and Requirements
- At least a master’s degree in business administration, international business, or a similar discipline is typically preferred for a country manager position.
- Five to seven years of demonstrated experience in a managerial or comparable leadership position.
- Expertise in project execution and funding.
- Strong leadership, cultural awareness, and adaptability skills.
- The ideal candidate should reside or be willing to reside in the Central Region.
